We know that summer still has a week or two to go, but here in Minnesota we’re already planning for the cold days to come (and it does get cold!). Right now we’re in love with the Sasha Wrap, a super-simple-to-stitch wrap, yet ever-so-stylish layering piece. Our model Emma is wrapped up in a version knit in toasty warm Blue Sky Alpacas TECHNO yarn in Metro Silver, we think you’ll look equally stunning in it or any one of Blue Sky Alpacas TECHNO’s thirteen colors.
We sent Emma right out to the center of a solidly frozen Lake George to snap these gorgeous photos. (See how tiny the trees are in the distance–we were literally standing in the middle of the lake.) It was cold (note the parka and mittens on the makeup artist), but fun–we took breaks to warm up and I even learned to drive a four-wheeler!
Speaking of behind-the-scenes, the back of the Sasha Wrap looks just as pretty as the front. Ditto Emma’s hair–we love watching our hair and makeup team work their magic.
If you received a printed copy of our catalog, you may recognize this photo from the cover. (If you didn’t and want to take a peek at the online version, click on over; you can also subscribe to receive catalogs in the mail.) Don’t you love the belt Emma is wearing? Our stylist swiped it from the photographer!
We love the button detail. Choose a style that blends beautifully with the yarn, like this one–or opt for a bolder statement button for a fashionable focal point. An excellent finishing touch.
