Sometimes, you just know. When the Czarina Wrap was submitted to Blue Sky Alpacas World Headquarters… we just knew. It was obvious that this design was going to be amazing and special.
Our model thought it looked pretty amazing too. Margaret is really funny, so spending a day out on frozen Lake George was a trip. She kept saying, “Really?!?! Someone made this by hand?!?!”
The Czarina Wrap looks unbelievable but is totally achievable.
It’s all in the details for this wrap: the unique horizontal construction, the pairing of lace and cables, and the way the two sides of the wrap perfectly mirror one another. The cables evoke twisting hourglasses. Just lovely.
Now, to stop thinking long enough to decide which color! Then to get knitting!
Our photo shoot showcased Mango for a soft sunny spot for a winter accessory.
The sample was done in Crabapple, a deep and rich red-orange.
I cannot help but think of Peacock, such a lush teal and always a popular color.
Which shade of Alpaca Silk would you choose?
