South Korean artist Hong Sung Chul prints images, mostly of hands, onto elastic thread and displays them as three-dimensional portraits.
It is Hong’s belief that our hands, not eyes, are the gateway to our relationship with the outer world. Knowing all our hands do, I think he may be right.
