Because of My Mother

How has your mother (or grandmother) influenced your love of crafting? Are you “in it” with her?

Is she your partner in crime? Does she help to make anything possible? Do you think courage comes from her or do you give one another courage?

Happy Mother’s Day Blue Sky Friends.

Just keep knitting, knitting, knitting…together

Katie

My mother influenced my crafting by not crafting at all! She couldn’t even teach me to sew on a button. BUT she did give me my grandmother’s knitting needles and bought me my first sewing machine. She didn’t want me to be crippled in the craftsy area……………

Interesting and wonderful that she was so supportive of you. My Mom is primarily a scrapbooker when it comes to crafting. I, naturally am primarily a knitter. My Grandma, a seamstress. It’s funny how they seem to influence us no matter what.
